Hip-Hop History is a historical look at the roots and beginnings of hip hop and the explosive rise to fame of many artists when the first hits started the movement. Documentary filmmaker Paul Kell picks up one of the stories left on the cutting room from his acclaimed Hip-Hop documentary "5 Sides of a Coin," The goal of "Hip-Hop History" is to bring to light this important, yet untold story through the words of the artists involved, the people behind the movement and the fans who made them who they are. Nearly thirty years after its inception, the time has come for this tale to be told.
