The majority of North Americans are directly affected by adoption; whether through a family member, friend or personally. Never has the emotionally charged world of the varied stories of adoption been explored dramatically well, only in anecdotal and over-wrought ways. Until now. The television series Who are You? will explore this world of finding one’s “self” through the ties that bind –and determine if that is through one’s family, their lineage or blood ties.

We will be taken through this world through the eyes of Naomi, a young prosecutor who is drawn into a family business that deals with helping people to find their birth relatives. By mining the ever-changing legal landscape and emotional situations that arise from these quests, Naomi reveals the two sides of every case. Her own personal story will weave throughout the series as she will come to terms with her own adoption story and deal with the ups and downs of her own biological ticking clock, failed relationships and complex family ties.
